Overview
We don't have this printer. Everything on this page comes from the manufacturer, with a source for each fact. See the machines we're testing.
A CoreXY printer that uses Creality's KliTek system to swap among four nozzle assemblies, each with its own filament path.
KliTek swaps only the nozzle, hotend and filament tube assembly, not a full toolhead. Creality says the assembly weighs about one fifth of a full toolhead. Each of the four assemblies has its own filament channel and can preheat while docked. Creality claims 4.8 s per nozzle change and about 15 s for a full color or material change, with XYZ repositioning within 25 µm.
The K3 ships with four 0.4 mm nozzles and four spool slots, and can connect to Creality's CFS for more colors at the cost of filament switching. Creality still mentions a 'minimal prime tower'. Engineering filaments such as ABS, ASA, PC and PA are listed only with the optional Top Cover, and softer TPU (90A/85A) needs an optional multi-material kit. Creality has not stated whether multi-nozzle printing reduces the 260 mm build volume.
