Store links
Right now, none of the store links on this site are affiliate links. If we add some, this page and every page with those links will say so, and the links will be marked as sponsored for search engines.
When affiliate links do appear, the wording will be: we may earn a commission when you buy through links on this page. It doesn't affect our test results or recommendations. Stores are listed manufacturer first, then other retailers. We never order them by commission.
Where our printers come from
Every printer page says how we got that machine: bought at full price, bought at a discount, given by the manufacturer, or lent by the manufacturer. Those are different arrangements and we keep them apart.
What manufacturers can't do
- Providing hardware doesn't buy positive coverage or a better ranking.
- Manufacturers don't see or approve conclusions before publication.
- They can point out factual errors, with evidence. Whether and how we correct anything is our decision, and the correction is visible.
- Loan length, return terms, and any embargo are agreed before we accept a unit.
- Paid placements, if we ever run any, are labeled and kept separate from test results.
